Auto-Creation in Presentation Server 4.0
These are the steps to modify Client Printer Auto-Creation in Presentation Server 4.0.
- Log into the Presentatiln Server Management Console.
- Click Policies on the left navagation Menu.
- Right-Click the Print Policy on the right window screen.
- Choose Properties from the Drop-down menu.
- In the Print Properties Window, expand Printing.
- Expand the Client Printers section.
- Click Auto-Creation
- Ensure that “Enabled” is chosen as the Policy setting.
- Below in the When Connecting section, click the down arrow to see your other choices. Set the policy to Auto-create the client’s default printer only.
These steps will auto-create only the default printer in a Citrix session for each user.
Error: MAS error when running in Citrix “cannot open ACTIVATION key file NO VALID ACTIVATION FOUND” Fix: Make sure all users accessing MAS are set in the Power Users Group on the Citrix server When upgrading Citrix Presentation Server, make sure that you set the server Edition [ Advanced, Enterprise, Platinum ]. This is in the server Properties in Access Console.
